'Posh' party poopers!

Posh took over the Joe H Makin centre today as we prepared for an exciting yet sinful photoshoot!

Stage Manager; Daisy Buckingham provided props for the event, including a fencing sword, flour to pose as illegal substances, £50 notes and dinnerware that has seen happier days…

The play is based around a group of Oxford University male students who are part of an exclusive dining club called ‘The Riot Club’. A club of debauchery and a vicious, undisciplined portrayal of privilege. Warren Tutt, director of the play, wanted to re-create this portrait of the club in one still image. So he chose the characters Guy and James (president of the club) to proceed in attacking an ‘inferior’ member of the club in our photoshoot! Daryl Blackburn and Adam Gilbert, who play Guy and James, began their gruesome feast pre-shoot as they smashed plates and emptied wine bottles! Actor from the production, Daryl Blackburn, said of the day: "We all work really well together, the energy in the room is incredible!"

These 'Posh' characters are unruly, corrupting their own dinner and being aggresive towards other club members, just how far will they go? Now there’s food for thought!
