First musical rehearsals with 'Kev'!

Kev rehearsals have kicked off in a good ol’ musical fashion. The cast are led by the talents of Todd Wilson and Michael Bower, as the cast all jam together to create fun filled tunes to start off the rehearsal process!

‘Kev’ is an original play written by Alex Medlicott and Andy Roberts, set in Liverpool during the 1980’s, a musical comedy that deals with melancholic nostalgia and events from the Falkland’s war. Alex and Andy also run their own theatre company ‘Oh Yes Theatre Productions’. They recently had their own play on at the Lantern theatre: ‘Inglorious Insinuations of Insanity’. Their play was a sell-out both nights, and received excellent reception from audience members and local festival producers.

Both Alex and Andy share a similar creative direction and desire for making theatre, Outta the Box Festival sees the young talents move away from their popular theatre company and begin a new musical collaborative challenge with ‘Kev’!
